A century ago, the League of Women Voters was born out of the fight for women’s suffrage.  Today the fight for voting rights—for everyone—continues. LWVUS President Deborah Turner and other LWV members have been arrested at White House protests as they demand that Congress pass the Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act.
