April 10, 2025
9:00 am - 12:00 pm
On April 10th, the California Coastal Commission will meet in Santa Barbara to vote on proposed environmental enforcement actions against Sable. The company has conducted unpermitted work on the same defective pipeline that ruptured in 2015 causing the horrific oil spill that polluted 150 miles of California’s coastline. The Commission will vote on enforcement actions including a nearly $15M penalty to protect and restore the coastal environment from damage caused by pipeline construction work.
At this time, this is this only formal opportunity for the public to be heard regarding the Sable project. Please help us pack the room and show support to the Commission for these critical enforcement actions.
