Interfaith Sanctuary Alliance of Santa Barbara Town Meeting on SB 54, the California Values Act.
This bill ensures that no state or local resources are put to use for mass deportations of non violent immigrants and that our schools, hospitals and courthouses remain safe spaces for everyone, regardless of immigration status. Misinformation and potential amendments put the intention of SB 54 at risk. Are current SB practices targeting and discriminating against our immigrant neighbors in SB? Come get the facts!
