As we celebrate National Women’s History Month, we honor the trailblazing women who have shaped our history and those who continue to lead us toward a more just and equitable future. The Santa Barbara Women’s Political Committee is proud to support and uplift women in leadership, advocacy, and public service. We are especially thrilled to see women majorities on the Carpinteria and Goleta City Councils.
This year’s Women’s History Month theme, “Moving Forward Together! Women Educating and Inspiring Generations,” underscores the importance of gender equity in our community and serves as a reminder that the work is far from over. While we celebrate the progress made, we also reaffirm our commitment to breaking down barriers, amplifying women’s voices, and ensuring that future generations inherit a more inclusive society.
SBWPC recognizes the invaluable contributions of women—past, present, and future—and remains dedicated to advocating for policies that promote equality, empower women, and create lasting social change.
