<p><br />The county has now released the framework for the November 3, 2026 election. However, candidate filing for most local offices commences on <strong>July 13, 2026, and concludes on August 7, 2026</strong>, with certain extensions permitted under California law. As of now, there is no official list of candidates for municipal, school, and special district races.</p>
