Join the Santa Barbara Women's Political Committee at this special event designed to promote our endorsed local candidates. Enjoy an evening of delicious food, refreshing drinks, and the camaraderie of friends. As ballots are scheduled to be mailed on May 4th for the June 2, 2026 Primary Election, this event presents a unique opportunity to directly engage with the endorsed slate and gain insights into their visions for our community and the state. Virtual Nuts and Bolts Workshop

Time: 6:30-8:00 PM
The Event: Learn about setting up a campaign and what to expect in the process. This workshop will be led by political strategist Mary Rose. Joining Mary is Natalia Alarcon, Mayor of Carpinteria, who will discuss her experience running for office, highlighting winning strategies and pitfalls to watch out for.

Run Like a Woman and Win!

Time: 9:00 am-1:00 pm
Format: Attend in person workshop for feminist candidates running in 2026.
The Event: Learn how to hone your message, communicate to your constituents across various media, and raise the money to run a successful campaign. If you’ve filed to run, this workshop will give you the extra edge to become a winning candidate. The workshop is free to SBWPC members and $20 for non-members.
