Is There Legislation we Should Know About?

Our Legislation and Advocacy Committee researches legislation, laws, and resolutions and other positions proposed at the local, state and federal levels. We either oppose or support and inform the public about the issue by publishing our letters. Please let us know if we missed something.

The Santa Barbara Women's Political Committee champions inclusive and progressive feminist values. Our positions and strategies are shaped by a commitment to non-partisan advocacy. We endorse candidates who align with our feminist agenda.

We stand firmly against discrimination of any kind. Our social action efforts address challenges based on gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, age, or ability. Join us in promoting equality and justice for all.
