SBWPC Members,
As of August 11, there are 84 days to go until election day. We’ve heard over and over that this election will be the most important election of our lives. We know what is at stake. So the question must be – what are we going to do to ensure that on November 4th, the day after the election, we have secured victories for our feminist candidates up and down the ballot?
There is a great deal of attention on National elections and on key Senate races in other States. I thank our members that are actively involved in efforts to take back the White House and the Senate. In addition, I ask that you not forget about the important races that are on the ballot here in our own communities.
We are mobilizing our members and supporters to elect feminists at all levels of Government. Make no mistake, there are efforts to elect anti-feminist, anti-choice, conservative candidates across almost every race in our local communities. It is more important than ever that we inform our friends, family, neighbors of the candidates that share our values.
Our members have been hard at work on the important task of endorsement considerations. Over the next several Board Meetings, we will be considering many local races. Please keep your eyes out for those meetings and announcements of the outcomes.
