The Santa Barbara Women’s Political Committee offers campaign skills workshops, consultation session, and scholarships through A seat at the Table: A Fund for a Feminist Future (FFF) for feminist women member who want to make real and profound change in our community, the State of California and our nation.

    Training: 3 hours of self-paced video training and 197 pages of downloadable resources.

    Training: CAWP, part of Rutgers University’s Institute for Women’s Leadership (IWC), offers NEW Leadership, a rigorous 6-day residential program since 1991.

    Ready to Run, established in 1998, trains women for political office through a national network. Ready to Run New Jersey includes initiatives like Election Latina and Run Sister Run.

    Training: Recruit viable candidates for winnable district and work closely with prospective candidate

    Voice: Democratic

    Training: Emerge California has 2 training programs, one in Northern California and one in Southern California. The course is an intensive cohort-based 5 month program (spread out over two day events).

    Ready to Run, established in 1998, trains women for political office through a national network. Ready to Run New Jersey includes initiatives like Election Latina and Run Sister Run.

    Voice: Progressive Training: Recruit viable candidates for winnable district and work cl osely with prospective candidate

    Voice: Pro-choice bipartisan training.

    Training: NPWC recruits, trains, and supports pro-choice women candidates, offering campaign training, technical assistance, and donations. Local chapters, including one in California, aid in fundraising and volunteer recruitment. NWPC sponsors certified training courses, including a five-part series on successful campaign strategies, with a state chapter in California.

    Voice: Progressive values. Run for Something supports under-35s advocating for progressivism.

    Training: We connect potential candidates with training organizations like Emily’s List, Latino Victory Project, National Democratic Training Committee, She Should Run, Emerge, and more.

    Run For Something seeks millennials running on pro-choice, healthcare for all, LGBTQ equality, and immigration reform.

    Voice: Non-partisan.

    She Should Run promotes equal leadership for women across all backgrounds. By 2030, we aim to have 250,000 women running for 500,000 elected offices. Since 2016, over 15,000 women have been inspired to run through our program.

    Training: The She Should Run Incubator provides resources and a supportive community to help candidates overcome obstacles on their journey to office.

    Voice: Non partisan. With 33,000 women trained to run for office VoteRunLead is the most diverse campaign and leadership program in the country.

    Training: In person trainings available and connection with network of VoteRunLead alums. Online tools put campaign resources and live political experts within reach. There are over 60 training resources available on the website.

    Voice: Non-partisan. WCF is dedicated to increasing the number of women in office.

    Training and Resources: WCF offers real-time support to candidates. WCF offers endorsed candidates research, a national network of individuals and organizations, consultant assistance.
